A fantastic evening was had by all on Wednesday night at the Lara Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. Annual General Meeting/End Of Year Party!
Held at the fabulous Lara Golf Club, with a wonderful feast cooked up by some of our committee, everyone left with full bellies and warm hearts.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP: Libby Bates honoured our latest Life Members, Lino and Marina Bisinella. Libby spoke of the strong history of the Lara Chamber of Commerce & Industry over the last 35 years and how priveleged Lara is to have buisiness people like the Bisinella's in our community who contribute to many organisations and have been part of building Lara into an amazing town.
A huge thank you to Geelong's AllSport Trophies for doing an incredible job of the Life Membership plaque, and Greg Medwell for a tremendous job as MC of our AGM formalities

LCCI outgoing long serving committee members Tricia Peart and Allen Sullivan were also presented with service awards for 5+ years as committee members (in various roles) and I think we can all agree that Tricia’s incredible one-of-a-kind LCCI shopping bags were a lovely touch for all members.
It was also our absolute pleasure to present Read The Play Inc. with a $1500 cheque, from our Community Mental Health night, raised by our team in conjunction with our friends at Lara District Community Bank Branch and Lara Sporting Club, which will be put towards mental health awareness within Lara sports teams.
All in all LCC has had a fantastic year, holding our first workshops, community fundraiser, and working on new branding and marketing material.
Most of our committee members are staying on board (minus Tricia & Allen who we thank for their tireless work)
